Paralegal Analyst I

About the Role

This is an entry or junior-level opportunity for someone who is outstanding at written communication. The position will work with a number of attorneys in the Legal Department. The role involves producing summaries of meetings and of legal reports. Reading comprehension, attention to detail, excellent writing ability, and talent for presenting written information effectively are critical.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the General Counsel’s calendar and support the team with other projects and administrative responsibilities.
  • Preparing summaries of other presentations, including meeting minutes.
  • Preparing executive summaries of legal reports so that the reader can quickly identify important, action-oriented information.
  • Preparing compelling PowerPoint slides to convey legal information to senior executives.

Requirements

  • Able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
  • Have the ability to determine the most visually effective way to communicate different types of information.
  • Maintain consistent exercise of unbiased judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Have the ability to write and communicate extremely well (top decile in reading comprehension and writing ability).
  • Having a B.A. with good academic performance in relevant subjects.
  • Able to pay attention to detail and ability to prioritize
  • Be a team player.
A paralegal certificate is not required for this position. No experience is required, but the underlying skills listed are critical.

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is estimated salary range is $55K-$70K.
