The Paid Social, Display Manager is part of our Marketing & Online Presence team and will focus on paid media channels (particularly social, display and video) across APEI portfolio brands. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and quick learner with a desire to learn new tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will have had experience in managing and optimizing paid media across paid social, paid display and video channels, as well as across different types of goals – whether driving awareness, consideration, or action. This person will work closely with media strategy, as well as others on the marketing team, to ensure execution is aligned with our objectives and performance is driving towards our goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically perform A/B tests; identify hypothesis, measure, report, and advice on future implementation of those learnings
  • Manages and optimize paid media strategies, including the development and execution of display and social campaigns utilizing new and emerging best practices
  • Owns day-to-day vendor relationships; managing deliverables and implementations based on vendor recommendations
  • Responsible for strategic input and oversight of paid media campaigns driving to growth objectives
  • Remains up-to-date on emerging marketing trends and technologies, and help identify new and innovative ways to promote the university and other APEI clients
  • Continually update and align paid media strategies with new and emerging best practices to improve quality and efficiency
  • Measures campaign metrics and KPIs (CPL, CPC, CTR, Conv Rate, etc.) for optimizations to increase ROI
  • Collaborates with internal creative team to produce effective creative to drive improvements in engagement and performance
  • Plays an important role in defining the media strategy and executing/optimizing campaigns
  • Collaborates with project management team to ensure effective & timely launch strategies

Essential Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience in Google Analytics and similar platforms
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to optimize marketing ROI and performance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience crafting and managing paid social & display media campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build, manage, and optimize campaigns in Google, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads & TikTok
  • Ability to create effective ad copy materials, which adhere to strict University standards and guidelines

Recommended Skills:

  • Experience within the Education industry
  • Experience with MMM attribution tools
  • Meta Certification, Google Ads Display, Video & Creative Certificatio
  • Experience with 3rd party management tools such as DV360

Experience:

  • 4+ years’ experience managing paid social and display campaigns

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
