Packaging Room Leader- 2Nd Shift

What will you do?

• Reviews batch paperwork and follows supervisor instructions to understand and perform the necessary packaging procedures required for assembly of each study.

• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
• Communicates any problems with the room to a Supervisor.
• Participates and successfully completes required training sessions for line leaders, standard operating procedures, quality, safety, etc.
• At job completion all materials are accounted for and documented ensuring accountability limits specified in the SOP’s are met.
• Assumes responsibility for all activities performed within their assigned production room.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
• Ensures adequate materials and supplies are available for the completion of the assigned production run.
• Completes in process paperwork in conjunction with QA personnel.
• Verifies that accurate information is captured in all batch records within all relevant IT systems
• Assign all production personnel in the room to a specific task and ensures compliance with the batch paperwork by having them properly demonstrate their assigned task to assess competency.

How will you get here?

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

• Ability to read, write and complete basic mathematics calculations with hand held calculator.
• 6 months of related food or pharmaceutical packaging exp.
• Computer experience is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Work effectively with a diverse cross-functional team.
• Self-motivated individual who can work on their own to drive results
• Excel skills, working knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Power Point.
