Custom Trade Agent - 2Nd Shift

Responsible for coordination of the documentation required by US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers.

• Ability to use multiple systems and reference material.
• Maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with all record keeping requirements.
• Data entry and processing of various import related documentation for submission to US Customs and may handle limited PGA's (participating Government Agencies)
• Interact with internal staff, management of all levels, internal departments. Performs other or additional duties as assigned.

• HS Diploma or GED required.

• Process agency brokerage shipments.
• Ensure all government and organizational policies are followed.
• No industry experience required. No work experience required.
• Data entry/keyboard experience required. Required - MS Office, Outlook, Office equipment (phone, fax, photocopier, printer, scanner).
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from database, SOP's, tariff book, internet or customs.
• Handle high volume of work.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Adhere to all international importing regulations.
• Work closely with other internal staff and departments to deliver high level of service to customers.

• This position is paid weekly.
• There is no waiting period for benefit eligibility.
• It is critical that applicants understand that they will need to adapt their schedule to accommodate working on ARIZONA TIME ZONE/SHIFT 1:00PM-9:30PM Tuesday-Saturday. Arizona does not change with the time zone; so, your shift will change twice a year
• This role will be hybrid, with some work from home opportunity and some in the office work, dependent on company policy.

• This position pays an hourly rate of $17.05 per hour, which has been determined based on experience, location market, and company guidelines.
