- Bonus amounts could be prorated based on number of hours worked
- 1 or more years of experience in healthcare office management, with a focus on compliance, billing, and chart management.
- 1 or more years of experience with medical billing practices and regulations.
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in office software and EMR systems.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field
- Knowledge of psychiatric healthcare practices and regulations
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, including HIPAA and other relevant healthcare standards.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to compliance standards and address any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with billing department to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Assist program leadership with payroll verification and fidelity monitoring activities
- Complete the weekly billing process, including coding, claim submission, and front-end revenue cycle management.
- Train staff on proper charting procedures and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Implement efficient record-keeping systems to streamline chart management processes.
- Organize and maintain patient charts, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
- Address patient concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Champion a patient-centered approach by promoting empathy and excellent customer service among office staff.
- Gather and analyze patient feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements.
- Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting high morale among office staff.
- Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, including appointment scheduling, reception, and administrative tasks.
- Effectively communicate and interact with clients, peers and community representatives
- Utilize personal computer equipment on a daily basis.
- Ability to work both individually and in teams
- Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality
- Varied work schedule, evening and weekends may be required
- Ability to work in a drug free workplace
- Current child abuse, criminal and FBI clearances
- Document case activity through progress notes and other program specific paperwork.
- Maintain valid driver’s license and insurance
- Utilize office equipment (phone, fax, copier and scanner)
- Demonstrate ongoing availability to work 2 evenings per week.
- Work in standard office environment as well as community settings to include client home, schools, court, doctor’s offices and hospitals.
