Job Description

Nurse Practitioner – Behavioral Health

Path Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner in to provide psychiatric service care in our rapidly growing office. This skilled professional must be able to work collaboratively with members of interdisciplinary treatment team to develop, implement or evaluate treatment plans. We are seeking to hire an individual that is committed to providing these services with a high level of integrity and thrives for excellence in the care of our clients.

Essential responsibilities

  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members
  • Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities
  • Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools.
  • Orders and interprets diagnostic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs.
  • Monitors the effectiveness of medications and interventions
  • Implements interventions to support the patient to regain or maintain physiologic stability, including but not limited to serving in the first assisting role.
  • Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history for every client

Minimum qualifications

  • Board Certified
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); PALS provider card as required by department and facility
  • Licensed nurse in the state of Ohio with Advance Practice Registered Nurse License in good standing.
  • Active DEA required

Experience

  • Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in the Nurse Practitioner role preferred.
