Perform the role of bartender by following the proper steps of service, Standard Operating Procedures, Power of One principles, and standards of conduct, in addition to being an effective team member and exceeding guests’ expectations.


Essential Functions


  • Any other tasks, responsibilities, or actions that are deemed necessary by your immediate supervisor.
  • Obtain requests efficiently and accurately, while answering questions and making recommendations.
  • Correctly processing all forms of payment.
  • Provide list of needs each day to immediate supervisor.
  • Obtain identification for alcoholic beverages to ensure patron is of legal drinking age.
  • Promptly acknowledge guests upon entrance to outlet, communicating in a professional manner, avoiding slang terminology.
  • Be aware of the guidelines set forth in the Moments of Service.
  • Upsell to maintain financial responsibility to Omni.
  • Preparing alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for bar patrons and restaurant servers, following recipes accurately and consistently.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Handle guest issues with a positive attitude, always alerting your supervisor/manager on duty.
  • Prepare bar and tables with special attention to sanitation and order.
  • Attend required meetings.
  • Complete assigned side work in an orderly fashion, without disrupting service for patrons. In addition to any other opening or closing tasks, or needs, to ensure the restaurant is prepared for service.


Tools and Equipment


  • Bar tools required to prepare cocktails shaker, jigger, strainer, pour spouts, muddler, zester, bar spoon, tap system, correct glassware, and standard recipe guide


Working Environment


  • Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel.
  • Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
  • Exposure to food items and beverages.
  • Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.


Qualifications and requirements


  • Experience of high volume bartending
  • Mixology knowledge of specialized cocktails.
  • TiPs certified
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least one-year previous bartending experience is essential
