GENERAL SUMMARY:
Hours: Monday - Thursday 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM
This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education or training. The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making. The job requires a basic understanding of work routines and procedures in own discipline. The technical procedures for this level are well defined. The job works within well-defined procedures that may involve a variety of work routines. This job typically requires a minimum of 2 or more years experience.
MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs tasks requiring considerable judgment in determining work methods, interpreting results and writing clear and accurate reports.
- Build and repair wiring assemblies
- Work from prints, drawings, method sheets, diagrams, workmanship standards or other specifications in accordance with established assembly procedures
- Works with technicians and may assist engineers in evaluating and improving designs or processes.
- Troubleshoot and fault isolate equipment.
- May build and test mechanical models, electrical circuits and assemblies, software, and/or perform basic analyses requiring knowledge of scientific and/or laboratory techniques.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Perform other related duties as required
- Monitor and record test related documentation to meet quality requirements
- Collect, analyze, maintain and test report data from production processes using proper measurement techniques and implement corrective actions
- Train and certify others to the duties and responsibilities as required
- Record accurate maintenance and calibration data in medical device monitored environment
- Communicate and work with all aspects of production team, including operators, other technicians, engineers, analysts, and management to identify and resolve issues
- Build prototype electrical test fixtures
- Conduct maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment and software tools.
- Compare results against predetermined limits and write clear and accurate test result reports.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical Associate Degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
- At least 2 years of experience with Electronics
PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience developing and implementing tools and fixtures into a production environment
- Proficient in manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems in order to identify and implement improvements
- Medical device manufacturing experience
- Good reading and math skills
- Experience with Lean manufacturing concepts and practices
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment
- Proficiency in a wide range of mechanical fabrication skills
