Our fast-growing Wyoming law firm is looking for an energetic integrator to join our team—in Casper, WY or remotely anywhere in the US—for a rewarding long-term opportunity!

Compensation:

$100,000+

Responsibilities:

We love the work we do, but litigation is challenging and demanding. This is a fast-paced job and will require solid organizational skills and the ability to multitask. You will report directly to and collaborate with the firm owner. But as an experienced professional, you should also value the opportunity to work independently.

Finally, we are a firm of trial lawyers. There are always new techniques and strategies available to the ambitious, curious, and persistent legal team. Our lawyers are committed to investing time to read about and learn how to keep becoming the best trial lawyers we can. Because of this, we intend to hire an ambitious and conscientious operations guru who will take the same approach to building and growing an efficient kick-ass legal enterprise.

You need to be comfortable doing this stuff:

  • HR management and assisting owner with hiring, onboarding, and talent optimization
  • Perform audits and spot-checks of all team members to ensure policies and procedures are being followed and functioning as intended
  • Track metrics (hiring, financial, marketing, sales, and case outcomes) and create reports
  • Ensure cases move through the workflow pipeline at the right pace and the tasks are being completed by each department on time
  • Supervise team members to ensure deadlines are met and give timely feedback as needed.
  • Oversee vendor and contractor relationships to ensure vendors and contractors are delivering the value they promised
  • Oversee timekeeping and billing functions
  • Collaborate with the firm owner to identify systems that need to be created or improved and to optimize the use of technology and other resources to ensure fast consistent growth

Qualifications:

  • Full of initiative
  • Comfortable with computers and learning new technology or software
  • Diligent and driven to finish projects efficiently
  • Adept at making decisions that support firm guidelines authoritatively and quickly.
  • A boss at tracking KPIs and metrics and analyzing that data to drive decisions and growth
  • Top-notch problem solver
  • Prefer MBA or equivalent degree
  • Wizard at identifying the next thing needed to maximize value you provide to the business
  • Prefer 3+ years experience as a Director of Operations, Professional Legal Administrator, or COO for company with $5mm+ of revenue
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled manager of team members to ensure they consistently follow policies and procedures and meet their deadlines and KPIs.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while staying organized, accurate, and thorough
