About the Job

Manages teams of technicians who are responsible for installation, maintenance, operations, provisioning, dispatch, and test and turnup activities at Mobility equipment locations like, Cell Sites, RAN Hubs, or MTSOs. Manages a team responsible for the infrastructure and support of equipment like generators, power plants, fire suppression, safety equipment, transport, towers, security systems, and HVAC.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for interviewing, selecting, hiring, and training new technicians. Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all operations with respect to installation support, service, and major moves, adds, and changes. Reviews technician performance and provides feedback and coaching to technicians designed to address performance issues. Conducts safety and quality inspections to ensure high quality and safe performance by technicians. Identifies and removes roadblocks to safe and efficient performance by technicians. Oversees and reviews technician work assignments and load to verify valid work is assigned. Ensures that technician training is complete. Review results and coach technicians to improve performance.

Ensures that all functions are performed in a timely fashion to meet customer and company network specifications. Addresses and resolves customer complaints or service issues. Responsible for utilizing Management Systems and Operational Control (MSOC) techniques to manage employee efficiency, performance, and customer service. Collaborates outside of organization to improve process flows, project support and customer satisfaction. Management of technicians may include responsibility for technician time reporting, payroll, and on-call or vacation scheduling. Responsible for duty manager roles that have a 24/7 on-call responsibility on a rotational basis, as assigned. Responsible for coordinating emergency responses including network outages, large scale disaster recovery, deployments of FirstNet and other assets. Responsible for continuation of service revenue in assigned territory. Installs, tests, and adjusts equipment as necessary. May have revenue and growth and performance objectives.

Education:
Typically, a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent related network experience; Technical degree preferred.
Experience:
Typically, at least 3-5 years of network related technical and wireless experience.
Supervisory: Yes.
Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to ATT compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.

Our Manager Operations earn between $87,200 - $130,800. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
