The Operations Manager will develop, implement, and review process and procedures across the Projects and Service teams. The Operations Manager will ensure compliance with standards and drives change management initiatives to introduce and sustain new processes that contribute to the growth and durability of the operations of the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
·Oversees effective safety and accident prevention programs to ensure all reasonable actions are taken to prevent accidents and injuries; ensures a safe and productive work environment for all employees; implements and maintains an effective loss control and safety program.
- Owns all aspects of the Projects and Service Operations by proactively evaluating and assessing operational management systems, processes, and best practices with support from other Allmark Operation Department Heads
- Leads all matters related to operations to ensure overall operations meet safety, compliance, and P&L objectives. Use department financial reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) and metrics for review and utilization in the management of daily operations.
·Drives functional plans within the operations group to execute against the business plan to achieve or exceed the business’s budget and strategic plan to grow the business and meet or exceed operational objectives.
·Responsible for managing employees, including hiring, training, goal setting, coaching and performance management.
·Establishes productivity goals where needed; ensures adherence to operating standards; and manages labor hours and expenses.
·Coordinating internal teams to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross team learning opportunities.
·Identifying potential problems and points of friction and working to find solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue.
·Works with Supply Chain department to ensure all required inventory items are available, and equipment remains in working order and in compliance with safety standards.
·Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
·Make appropriate recommendations for operational and sales procedural/process improvement changes and implement with a goal of increasing customer satisfaction while delivering healthy profit margins and return on sales that meets or exceeds the annual financial budget/forecast.
·Actively participates in industry, client, and community relations to enhance company image and to develop and maintain effective relationships.
RELEVANT JOB COMPETENCIES
·Proven record of successful leadership and management experience in the industrial projects or services industry.
·Strong business acumen and the ability to develop and execute strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
·Proficiency in fiscal management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
·Experience in implementing and maintaining high-quality operational standards and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
·Ability to optimize operational processes, streamline workflows, and manage resources efficiently.
·Skilled in recruiting, training, and motivating a diverse team to deliver outstanding service performance.
·A strategic mindset and the capability to adapt to market trends and industry changes.
·Experience managing operations in multiple locations.
·Experience managing P&L line items.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
·Valid Driver’s License
·Bachelor's Degree preferred.
·3 years’ experience in leading an operations business unit or similar role in the industrial projects or services industry.
