About the Position. The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Tucson division. Duties include supervising field and warehouse personnel, ensuring daily targets are met, ensuring all field operations are completed timely, providing advice and conflict resolution to staff and clients. Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure material and services are on time and of the highest quality to the customer.
  • Work professionally with customers to promote issue resolutions when needed within operations.
  • Enforce quality assurance programs with field team and hold subcontractors accountable to ensure superior installations.
  • Ability to fully understand and interpret installation guidelines.
  • Actively promoting and completing annual performance reviews for the direct report personnel
  • Ensure schedule efficiencies, collaborate with field operations and workflow with clients.
  • Organize, plan, and manage the daily tasks of operations.
  • Assisting with employee recruitment for field and warehouse operations, as well as overseeing the onboarding process and setting up appropriate training with new hires.
  • Evaluating operations performance, individual performance and identifying areas in need of improvement.
  • Manage and participate when needed in all warehouse operations: inventory, deliveries, unloading trucks and etc.
  • Work closely with any department when needed to promote efficient process workflow.
  • Work closely to support sales team and Division Managers if needed to acquire new customers and maintain customer relationships.
  • Maintain professional vendor relationships.
  • Manage labor, which includes: all hiring, establish pay structures and installation standards to achieve company installation expectations.
  • Ensure safety policies and procedures are maintained to promote a safe working environment, including safe operations of machines and any equipment.

  • Reliable, effective multitasker, with positive attitude and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contracts/proposals and procedures.
  • Perform at a high level in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Infallible attendance and impeccable work ethic.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • 10+ years’ experience in the homebuilding industry .
  • Teamwork, supportive management style.
