Job Description
Reports to: Sr. Manager, Facilities & Conversions Background: Insignia Event Services is a newly created business unit affiliated with the Arizona Cardinals, tasked with producing all events at State Farm Stadium including all Arizona Cardinals games. In addition to Arizona Cardinals games, Insignia Event Services exclusively manages Sportsman's Park (SP). Sportsman's Park has been a site for pre-game festivities, tailgating, concerts, festivals, weddings, graduations, corporate events, and other related experiences. The three pillars of Insignia's current revenue are events at Sportsman's Park, parking operations for the lots around State Farm Stadium, and creative production of events (i.e., the production team for the Cardinals' home games work for Insignia Events). Job Summary: The Operations Manager is responsible for the proper creation and execution of projects requested by various Insignia Event Services stakeholders. This role will oversee projects related to asset tracking and asset repairs, quality assurance, facility and asset maintenance, event set-up and breakdown, and other related projects. This person will also manage all Sportsman Park Properties as well as the Insignia asset business. The Operations Manager will oversee a team of Event Operations Crew Members that will execute project tasks needed to properly prepare the venue and assets for event day and post-event operations. During events, the Operations Manager will oversee part-time team members scheduled to support various operations including set-up, event on-site support across departments, event breakdown, and other incoming operational requests. Primary Job Duties: Creates project descriptions, tasks, timelines, milestones, quality standards, and weekly status update reports based on incoming stakeholder requests Manages all Insignia Event Services p roperties, including overseeing the overall structure and building maintenance Oversees asset business for Insignia Oversee event setup and breakdown Oversee operations staff including interviewing, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance, offboarding, etc. Delegates project tasks to the appropriate team members Performs quality control on project tasks maintaining the standards established by stakeholders Supports Operations Teams during event hours of operation to complete any incoming requests Creates an inviting, welcoming, and positive atmosphere when interfacing with patrons Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements: Five or more years of experience managing teams and projects are required Five or more years of event operations experience is required Must have a driver's license Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders; provide clear direction and instructions to team members and follow project parameters established by stakeholders Must comply with proper safety policies and procedures established by Insignia Event Services, LLC. Must be comfortable operating heavy equipment. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot in a high stress, fast-paced, live production work environment Must be creative, innovative, passionate, high-energy, results oriented with big ideas and a commitment to excellence Flexibility with work varying schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends All offers of employment at Insignia Event Services are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check .
