Job Description
Andgar Food Processing, LLC has an opening for an experienced Operations Manager at our headquarters in Ferndale, WA. Th

  • Annual Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000

Specific duties include:


  • Manage, analyze, and report KPI’s and key metrics to determine target performance
  • Drive organizational culture that focuses on positive, motivating leadership, coaching, training, and team building
  • Determine hiring needs and guide talent identification and development
  • Manage the day-to-day operations providing cross-functional leadership from engineering to the shop to optimize productivity, promote growth, and encourage innovative ideas
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement by implementing lean production standards and processes
  • Establish and communicate production priorities with varying deadlines to team members and management
  • Initiate purchases to ensure on time performance and quality satisfaction
  • Quality control and assurance for delivery of high-quality products to clients
  • Assist the sales effort as needed
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements to enable long-term growth
  • Promote and monitor a safety-first mindset in the workplace
  • Facilitate and deliver performance reviews
  • Manage Inventory
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings in Solidworks
  • Project evaluation – cost to budget providing feedback to sales and operations team


Qualifications:


  • Project Management Professional preferred
  • Robotics or automation background preferred
  • Drug free including cannabis
  • Adaptability to juggle shifting priorities and adjust production schedules
  • Strong personal and professional judgment
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of CAD and 3D modeling tools (Solid Works)
  • Self-directed and goal-oriented for team building environment
  • 3+yrs experience in manufacturing management or similar role with a track record of increased responsibility
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
