Operations Analyst I Jobs

Mather Economics is looking for strong ENTRY-LEVEL operations analysts to join our talented team of Economics and Data Science professionals. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Information Systems, or Business Administration and has had at least one class in data modeling. He or she must have advanced working knowledge of Excel and Power Point and practical experience in Stata or other analytical tool(s) – R, Python etc.

A successful operations analyst works autonomously, is proactive, and takes initiative. He or she exercises excellent judgment, is a problem solver, possesses excellent communication skills, and works well with others across all levels of the organization.

As an Operations Analyst I:

• You review the ticket backlog regularly and complete assigned tasks accurately and in a timely manner
• You support our customers by ensuring our services are delivered on time and accurately
• You will help to ensure our documentation is complete, accurate, and regularly updated
• You work closely with your operations and consulting colleagues
• You will provide quality assurance (QA) for our output and monitor our automated QA tools, making corrections to the processes and data as needed

Requirements & Qualifications for the position:

• Modeling and econometric experience preferred
• Experience working with data analysis techniques
• Experience in Agile or Waterfall project management methods preferred
• Exposure to common coding languages - Stata, Python, and MySQL preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A degree in Economics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or similar

This position works out of our headquarters in the Sandy Springs area of Atlanta. This is a full-time salaried position with full health benefits, 401K, paid vacation, and an annual bonus.
