Job Description

Responsibilities

The Office Staff Representative will have the following duties:

·Answer phone calls.

·Accept payments.

·Take accident reports.

·Quote insurance rates as needed (once licensed).

·Maintain a log of all phone calls and customers served.

·Prepare bank deposits.

·Handle mail distribution.

·Verify policy details for accuracy.

·Reach out to potential customers and walk-in clients for additional services.

·Maintain expiration dates for new business prospects.

·Schedule simple conversation appointments.

·Provide support to other office staff.

·Sell insurance products as needed (once licensed).

·Process policy changes and update policyholder information on the ECRM system.

·Manage office supply inventory.

Other Duties:

The Office Staff Representative will also be expected to perform additional duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the office.

Reporting and Training:

The Office Staff Representative will report to Dee Young and Elizabeth Adams. The Office Manager will provide training assistance on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

We are seeking an Office Staff Representative to join our team. This full-time position requires availability from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. The pay schedule is negotiable and will include a salary increase upon obtaining a license from the State of VA and receiving an agreement from the State Farm Insurance Company. A salary review will be conducted after six months, with a skill review after three months. It is expected that the employee will obtain the required license within three months of employment, and assistance will be provided for obtaining the license. Once licensed, bonuses will be paid based on a predetermined schedule.

We are actively seeking individuals who are bilingual and fluent in Spanish.

Pay rate:

No experience $18.00 per hour, some office, banking, and customer service experience $22.00 to $25.00, Insurance experience with a P&C license $ 28.00 to $30.00.


Benefits:

The position offers various benefits, including vacation time starting with one week after one year of employment, two weeks after two years, and three weeks after five years. Additionally, employees are entitled to two personal days off per year and six paid holidays, including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas. A retirement plan will be available after two years of employment.
