Summary
This position is responsible for general housekeeping in the office area while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications
  • May work with corrective lenses if vision problems.
  • May be provided PPE for additional hearing protection as needed.
  • Must have been employed with the same employer for 6 months within the last 12 months.
  • Need full range of motion of arms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, all digits, and legs. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time with a sense of balance.
  • Must have previous listed Janitorial Experience.
  • Must pass post offer health assessment and drug screening if external.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Responsibilities
  • At certain times, other job duties may be part of the routine.
  • General Cleaning Duties
    • Dusting/Wiping down surfaces.
    • Sanitizing Tables, Rails, and high touch surfaces
    • Wash Dishes
    • Empty Trash
    • Mop, Sweep, Vacuum, and Clean Carpets
    • Buff Floors
    • Clean around the office building and parking lot
    • Wash and dry laundry
    • Clean restrooms including urinals.
    • Picking up trash and maintaining the parking lot and surrounding property.
  • Clean around the office building and parking lot
  • May require use of specialized cleaning chemicals.
  • Mop, Sweep, Vacuum, and Clean Carpets
  • During your work shift, which will consist of (8) hours, you must be willing to move around the work area at a fast pace and willing to bend, squat, lift, push, pull, up to (25) pounds.
  • Clean restrooms including urinals.
  • Dusting/Wiping down surfaces.
  • Empty Trash
  • May be required to assist with housekeeping duties in the warehouse.
  • Wash Dishes
  • Buff Floors
  • Follow all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines.
  • Picking up trash and maintaining the parking lot and surrounding property.
  • Wash and dry laundry
  • Sanitizing Tables, Rails, and high touch surfaces
Environment
  • Standing or walking up to 100% of the time
  • If needed, you will be provided a freezer suit, hearing protection, gloves, and headwear as part of your personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Will spend most of the time in a general office environment.
  • May be exposed to inclement weather when working outdoors.
  • May be exposed to extreme temperatures when working outdoors or in the warehouse (-5 to 30 degrees)
  • Team members will furnish their own boots and must wear either steel or composite toe boots that conform to ANSI 75lbs or more PSI rating with a slip resistant sole that covers the ankles. (Composite toe preferred)
Shifts
This position is for:
2nd Shift Janitor Schedule*
Monday - Friday 9:20PM – 5:50AM (Lunch at 12:00 - 12:30, Break at 3:00-3:20)
