Position Summary:
The Office Administrator will be responsible for helping to create and maintain the administrative
infrastructure at LHMPTI’s headquarters, including providing administrative support for the
leadership team.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors.
- Establish, update, and maintain files, including saving and organizing documents in the
- Help establish and maintain office procedures.
- Assist with planning and delivery of internal and external events.
- Provide office administrator services to LHM Hospice and Social Services Foundation.
- Make photocopies and scan documents as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to the corporate leadership team.
- Create and edit complex documents from multiple sources, including, e.g., correspondence,
- Manage office supplies and inventory.
- And/or schedule calls, meetings, and other appointments.
- Responding to inquiries.
- Manage incoming telephone calls, take accurate messages, routing appropriately and
- Memos, spreadsheets, and presentations. Proofread for spelling, grammar, and format.
- Proactively manage corporate leadership calendars as requested, helping to coordinate
- Company’s document management system. Retrieve information from files when needed.
- Open and review incoming mail.
- Schedule meetings and appointments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to a positive work culture, including collaboration, open
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and
- Professionalism.
- At least 5 years’ experience in an administrative support role, with increasing levels of
- Communications, positive attitude, respect, dependability, good judgment, initiative, and
- Work in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication (written and oral), organizational and client service skills.
- High school diploma or GED (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred).
Physical Demands and Conditions:
The position requires significant written and oral communication, as well as significant use of a
computer and telephone. Frequent and long periods of sitting, standing, and walking to perform
the essential elements of the job. Occasional lifting and/or carrying objects up to 20 lbs. Work is
in an office environment and is subject to related inside conditions.
