Nurse Preceptor Jobs

We are looking for a Nurse Preceptor to join our hospcie team. This position reports to the AVPO and is responsible for providing high interaction with patients as well as new hire clinicians during hospice visits.

• Orients new nurses (preceptees) which includes hospice clinical policies and procedures, documentation, technology, compliance and regulatory requirements
• Performs patient home visits in accordance with physicians’ orders.
• Facilitates the learning experience to allow preceptees to perform competently in their required responsibilities. This is achieved through mentoring, coaching, and role modeling correct behaviors.

• Current CPR certification
• Unencumbered RN license in work state assigned
• Diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a clinical setting
