- Collaborate with physicians regarding patient management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Develop and/or conduct in-service education programs for other health care professionals.
- Assess acute, non-acute, and chronic clinical and psychological diagnosis.
- Implement treatment plans and education for chronic conditions.
- Perform new patient intake/screenings to include medical history, physical examination, laboratory, and diagnostic studies.
- Provides counseling to patients and their families regarding illness prevention and health maintenance.
Degree: A graduate or higher level degree from an accredited professional nursing educational program in Family Nurse Practitioner is required.
Licensure: A current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse in the specialty of Obstetrics/Gynecology or related specialty from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
