Nurse Practitioner Primary Care Non Exempt, UHS Medical Group United Health Services is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Primary Care Non Exempt to join our Occupational Medicine department at UHS Medical Group in Johnson City, NY. This is a Per Diem position. All Shifts 0 $84.90 - 127.36 USD per hour, depending on experience. Nurse Practitioner Primary Care Non Exempt / Overview Under the professional supervision and collaboration of a United Health Services Occupational Medicine physician, Nurse Practitioners provide direct patient care,in accordance with accepted standards of medical and nursing practice at United Health Services and in compliance with all regulatory agencies that impact the practice of Occupational Medicine. The NP provides health teaching/education for Occupational Medicine patients as well as support services and education for our customers (employers).

• Masters Degree in Nursing

• Skills in decision making, problem solving, and independent judgment
• One year of experience in Occupational Medicine or a walk-in type urgent care setting
• Knowledge and experience working the regulatory requirement of the Department of Transportation, NYS Department of Health, and NYS Workers’ Compensation Law

• Certified Prescriptive Privilege in NYS Possession of BNDD Number
• Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse License
• Current NYS Nurse Practitioner License
• National certification through ANCC, American Nurse Credential Center
• CPR Certified

• ACLS Certification

• All work is performed in an office setting that requires frequent contact with co-workers and patients. The office is heated and air conditioned. Lab coat is required and gloves as appropriate.
