POSITION: Nurse Aide Clinical Adjunct Instructor, Part Time

LOCATION: Clarkesville Campus

Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supervising, and educating students at clinical sites using a variety of learning experiences and activities. Instructional duties include facilitating clinical learning experiences, assisting with assessment and evaluation of students' achievement of clinical learning outcomes, promoting a safe learning environment for a diverse student body in accordance with the established course syllabi, and utilizing a variety of teaching methods in instruction. Other responsibilities include providing students with appropriate course materials (syllabus, calendar, policy statements or guidelines), utilizing technology to include a simulated electronic health record system, adhering to course competencies in the preparation and delivery of quality instruction, and efficient maintenance of student records. Instructor must be knowledgeable of institutional policies and procedures. Location on the Clarkesville campus.

Minimum Qualifications

• Train the Trainer Certification
• Georgia Nurse license in good standing
• Diploma in Nursing
• Minimum one (1) year long term care nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching experience at the postsecondary level and/or teaching experience via distance learning/online

Salary/Benefits

Salary is commensurate with education and work experience. Benefits include retirement, paid state holidays, annual and sick leave, and the State of Georgia Flexible Benefits Program.
