Adjunct Faculty Position: HWC 154 Fitness for Life
Covenant College invites applications for an adjunct professor to teach one or two sections
of HWC 154 Fitness for Life in the fall of 2023. Covenant College is a Christian college
emphasizing the liberal arts in the Reformed and Presbyterian tradition.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Teach the core Fitness for Life class. It is a course that explores matters of faith in relationship to our

physical bodies. Emphasis is placed upon developing and continuing active, healthy, Christian life
practices and understanding the body as a tool to glorify the Lord.

• Teach in the context of a Christian perspective
• Plan lessons and assignments, grade assignments, respond to student inquiries,

submit final grades
Qualifications

• Master's degree in a closely related field required
• College teaching experience preferred
• An appreciation and understanding of the mission of Covenant College
