Job Summary


At Dollywood Parks & Resorts, we create memories worth repeating. We do this every day across Dollywood Resorts which includes over 600 rooms and 15 Food & Beverage outlets, all located in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. Our plan is to grow our resort footprint to over 1200 rooms across five resorts at Dollywood and to add other resorts to our overall company resort portfolio.

We are seeking a Night Auditor who will embody the heart and soul of our mission of creating memories worth repeating while caring deeply about our brand and our region.

We want to work alongside someone who acts as an extension of our mission, values, and culture. This person is driven to create meaningful experiences for our hosts, guests, and community while simultaneously ensuring the success and profitability of our unique culinary offerings. This person also brings a spirit of fun, authenticity, collaboration, creativity and genuine hospitality to their life and work. We are seeking an individual who has the ability to bring the vision of the Dollywood Resorts to life. The recipe for the right Night Auditor will be equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, mentor and motivator.

The purpose of the Night Auditor is to prepare, balance, and audit all daily postings and transmittals of property revenues. To ensure that all guest service standards are maintained at the front desk. To assist with guest needs during the night audit shift.


Summary of Essential Functions & Responsibilities


  • Completes express check out in a timely manner and issues to security for delivery.
  • Completes property walk through, ensuring buildings are secure and safety systems in working order.
  • Completes the daily sales report and issues to all departments.
  • Performs all end of day front desk and night audit functions, including reviewing cashier audits for accuracy, balancing credit card postings to computer system, maintaining computer database integrity daily, and auditing of master bills.
  • Prepares all computer systems for the following day. Ensures accurate and timely backup files / tapes are maintained on a daily basis.
  • Maintains guest service standards at the front desk at all times.
  • Prepares, balances, posts, and distributes all necessary reports on a daily basis.
  • Contacts management in emergency situations.
  • Ensures accurate and timely recording and reporting of all property receipts.
  • Follows cash handling procedures as outlined by the accounting department. Collects payment at check out and provides change for guests as needed.

Required Experience


  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of business math and customer service.
  • Minimum of no less than six months job-related experience.
  • Requires operating knowledge of computer equipment, or may require broad knowledge in clerical or service areas.
  • This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma.
