Responsible for balancing the revenue and expense transactions, which occurred during the day at the hotel including additional hotel service outlets.

Primary Responsibilities

• Wear the proper uniform at all times. Uniform must be wrinkle free, clean and neat.
• Answer phones, direct calls and take reservations.
• Counting and balancing cash, credit cards and direct bill accounts. Posting charges to guest accounts. Monitor high balance guests and payments owing and take appropriate action.
• Investigation or analyzing out-of-balance situations and making adjustments or corrections as needed.
• Listening for or anticipating and responding to guest complaints. Resolve complaints in a positive manner.
• Maintaining daily logs. Sending out daily reports to owners and managers.
• Know all emergency procedures to follow and how to respond in the event of different types of emergencies.
• Attend regularly scheduled meetings for front desk personnel.
• Follow all hotel safety policies, procedures & standards.
• You are a part of the propertys security team and are responsible to report any potential safety or security hazards to management immediately.
• Completing computer audit reports.
• Handle other duties as assigned by Front Office Manager
• Keeping the front desk and lobby area clean.
• Follow front desk procedures to ensure accuracy, five-star service and consistency in all operations.
