Job Title: Program Manager I

Location: Cupertino, CA

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Description

  • Lead NPI materials process improvement
  • Propose optimized supply planning to ensure on-time build schedule. Drive closure of materials issues
  • Lead daily or weekly supply planning meetings with Manufacturer Partners
  • Lead materials budget planning and spend management through partnering with Finance and Engineering
  • This role is responsible for material planning, forecasting, and readiness to enable technology development, new product development, supply qualification and factory readiness. This role is a primary interface between Engineering, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Supplier/Manufacturing Partner(s).
  • Lead clear to build (CTB) for pre-production build phases
  • Work closely with Engineering to manage multiple or alternate source qualifications through build management


Duties:

  • Clearly set expectations and communicate status to both technical and business teams.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the fundamentals of iterative software development.
  • Knowledge of development processes and methodologies in addition to Agile and an understanding on how to leverage these techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise.
  • Have a proven ability to establish rapport, credibility and influence others to drive results across a large matrixed organization.
  • Take responsibility; feel a personal stake in the product you ship.
  • Familiarity with PHP development and the LAMP stack isn't required, but would be helpful.
  • Value the commitments to delivery made by a development team and understand the technical requirements to meet these commitments.
  • Understand incremental delivery and the value of metrics. - Proven use of backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition.
  • You value integrity; you manage conflict; and you work for the success of the entire team.
  • Familiar with supply chain concepts & processes a plus. Some travel may be required.
  • Creative problem-solving skills related to team, project deliverables, and cross-functional issues Additional Requirements.
  • Understanding of business intelligence technologies, concepts, architectures and methodologies a plus.

Key Qualifications:

  • PMP, APICS, CSCP or CPIM a plus
  • Knowledge in Agile, SAP, Oracle, Numbers, Keynote, and Pages a plus
  • Detailed oriented and excellent organizational skills
  • Project/Program management skills
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Demonstrated ability/experience working in constantly changing environment
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • NPI (New Product Introduction) supply chain management experience
  • Technical expertise and prior OEM management experience a plus

Education:

  • BS/BA with 3 - 5 years or comparable professional experience.
