Are you interested in developing your knowledge and skills as a family therapist? FSA is adding a full-time or part-time therapist in our Lompoc location with great training opportunities in Family Therapy!
Are you interested in a job using your therapeutic training and skills?
The Child/Youth/Family Therapist will provide therapeutic services to clients with a variety of conditions. Services are provided primarily in our offices, with the possibility of a limited number of services provided via telehealth or in a community setting. Staff may have the option of performing non-clinical functions (e.g. documentation) remotely. Working hours will generally be Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm, but some evenings may be necessary, depending on client needs.
What will these staff do?
- Maintain licensure/registration status and adhere to all legal and ethical standards of practice as established by the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- Conduct clinical assessments evaluating the current status of clients’ mental, emotional, andbehavioral health and considering relevant cultural issues and concerns.
- Compose treatment plans informed by clinical assessments.
- Foster positive interagency relationships and provide referrals for any indicated outside resources.
- Engage in case management activities.
- Pre-licensed staff must meet weekly for group supervision. Additional supervision may be offered as determined by the Clinical Supervisor.
- Document all clinical and service activities promptly after providing service.
- Licensed staff must meet at least once a month for Clinical Consultation.
- Maintain all cases according to industry standards, including the appropriateness of service and quality of care.
- Facilitate individual and/or family therapy using evidence-based treatment modalities andother promising practices known to be effective with populations served.
