Position Summary

The NDT Services Manager is responsible for all aspects of the department’s operations, including compliance with standards and Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of assigned projects to ensure that project goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed schedule and budgetary constraints. Accountable for financial, HSE, Quality, operational execution, equipment inventory.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure that project schedule and budget are maintained.
  • Reviews project proposal and/or project execution plan to determine budget constraints, documentation requirements, staffing requirements and/or allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
  • Confers with project staff to outline project execution plan and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
  • Establishes and maintains the work plan/project schedule.
  • Prepares scheduled status/job cost reports for management, clients, or others.
  • Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modified schedules or plans as required.
Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Understanding of the field application of NDT methods: RT, UT, MT, PT, ACFM, ET
  • Minimum of five (5) years NDT inspection experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

DESIRED

  • Familiarity with advanced NDT methods: AUT, PAUT, PEC
  • Level 3 certifications in any if the following NDT methods: Radiography, Ultrasonics, Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant
