Nationwide Search: Charleston Famiy Seeking Live-Out Nanny/Household Manager

Overview:
CHARLESTON, SC (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) - Sullivan’s Island family is seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER for their 3 boys; 9, 11, and 14 years old. All three kids have a moderate level of ADHD or dyslexia. The position is mainly focused on household management during the day, then nanny duties after school. Duties include running errands, assisting SAHM with things around the house as needed(contractors, etc.), driving the children to after-school activities, basic meal prep for the children, helping with dishes, putting things away, and doing laundry for the kids. Hours are flexible and vary from week to week. The family will offer a guarantee of 40 hours a week with the potential for overtime. Parents are very hands-on and really need an additional adult in the house to help organize and help the household run smoothly. The parents generally handle school dropoffs; 1 child walks to school, 1 takes a bus, and 1 gets dropped off. Generally speaking, the nanny will come later in the morning to help with house management duties.
The family lives on the beach and has a pool at the house. The candidate needs to be a strong swimmer and willing to swim on occasion with the kids. The candidate will also need to be a comfortable and safe driver with their own reliable transportation. Dad works outside of the home and Mom is a SAHM. There are 2 cats in the home that need no care. Cleaning staff come to the home 3 days a week.
The perfect candidate is super organized, patient, good with kids, has tons of energy, and is flexible with their schedule. The ability to travel with the family is a must. A passport is required. The family needs someone who is very energetic and athletic to be able to play sports with the boys on occasion (ex: basketball in the driveway).
A bonus skill would be a candidate who has experience working with children who have dyslexia. Specifically trained in the Orton-Gillingham multisensory reading approach.
The family has no vaccination preference. Benefits include 10 days PTO + 5 days + a health insurance stipend negotiable. Relocation assistance is negotiable. The start date is 6/1. Pay is $50/hr.
Qualifications:
BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study
CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)
Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position
A passion for working with children
Two+ years childcare experience
Excellent work and personal references
U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)
Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus
Competent swimmer
Non-smoker
Willing to go through extensive Background Check
Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident
Willingness to show proof of immunizations
No-cell phone driving signed guarantee
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
