DELSEY is a consumer goods company located in the Baltimore/ Washington DC area and part of a large global organization. Our products are sold nationally through large retail chains, specialty stores and e-retailers.
The National Key Account Manager at Delsey Paris will be responsible for sales and profits for strategic off-price customers such as Burlington, Ross, and Marmaxx and other accounts as assigned. He/She will work with buyers, planners, and other related personnel within each account with the goal to maintain current collections in stores, creatively grow program opportunities, and launch new collections, all while maintaining marketplace harmony and elevating the Delsey Paris brand.
As part of our growth and development, we are looking for an ambitious and driven, ready to ‘hit the ground running’ Account Manager who will have the opportunity to develop her/his skills by managing their own client portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Will manage other accounts, as assigned, as we continue growing our Delsey distribution.
- Analyze sales trends, submit sales forecasts, produce ad hoc reporting, and collaborate with assigned accounts to develop exclusive product offerings that enhance the Delsey Paris brand within the marketplace.
- Ensure all accounts follow the Delsey Paris brand and pricing guidelines.
- Contribute to developing an action plan to expand our presence within the assigned accounts by identifying and proposing expansion or upsell opportunities.
- Presentation of product catalog and the Delsey brand is crucial to achieving goals.
- Manage the off-price portfolio of accounts, ensuring project success from kick-off to go-live, and making the relationship grow with our clients.
- Build professional relationships with the Marketing, Product Development, Customer Service, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to ensure all clients are given the highest level of service. Cross-functional experience a must.
Qualifications
- Sales experience with owning a customer relationship
- Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organization
- Revenue and growth oriented; ability to negotiate while finding mutual alignment
- Relationship building skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Previous Account Management / Business Development experience working with external counterparts
- Strong empathy for customers with relationship building skills
- Very well organized and can stay organized in a quick-moving retail landscape
- Off-price retail experience
- Cross-functional experience a must
- Proactive with a positive attitude, familiar working in fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Creative thinker and open to new ideas while collaborating as a team

This position is remote with occasional travel to DELSEY US headquarters in Hanover, Maryland and travel to customer locations as needed.
