Nanny Position In The Central District, Seattle

A kind and active family in the Central District is ready to welcome a warm and trustworthy nanny for their happy 10-month-old baby. He is described as good-natured and strong-willed! He is confident in his surroundings and loves the family pets, Buckley and Millie. The days are spent exploring the world around him, taking walks, singing, dancing, and reading books. He is working on moving around and will need a nanny to explore the world on his level.

The ideal candidate loves babies and that transitional waddler phase into toddlerhood. A nanny who is experienced in applying their knowledge of early childhood into creative activities, outings, and everyday routine. Experience with or willingness to implement elimination communication is necessary, as the family practices it alongside cloth diapering. Furthermore, maintaining the baby’s current and evolving schedule will be key. This includes having fun! There are parks and other activities nearby to keep the good times rolling. Experience with allergies is ideal, as the baby has severe milk and egg allergies.

The parents have been together since they finished college. They are from the PNW and love the outdoors. Mom coaches track and cross-country and is also a writer. During the off-season, Mom will work from home, focusing on writing projects. Dad is a radiologist. He works a 7-days-on,7-days-off schedule and will focus on resting and recovering during his off time. They practice and value direct and effective communication. They look forward to meeting a nanny they can entrust with the care of their son and who will be with their family for years to come.
