Position Summary

As a Motion Graphic Designer and Video Editor, you will be responsible for many aspects of the company’s design and branding. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and design a wide variety of materials across print and digital media. A successful candidate in this position will be a self-starter, capable of delivering impressive creative ideas that turn business challenges into competitive solutions while demonstrating keen attention to detail.

Scope of Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members within marketing and other departments to obtain content, information, or input required to complete projects and tasks.
• Create and design a wide range of print and digital media materials, including, but not limited to sales and marketing collateral, social media, website, landing pages, email, trade shows, internal communications, etc.
• Illustrate concepts by designing examples of layout, typography, and style for review and approval
• Plan concepts by studying relevant information and materials
• Perform retouching and manipulation of images, video, and sound editing
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing graphic design-related tasks as needed
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
• Build upon established creative direction and brand guidelines for the company
• Plan, coordinate, and capture product photography and video-on-demand and as needed to support design/marketing projects
• Ensure projects are completed with high quality, attention to detail, and on schedule

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience editing videos with Davinci Resolve (Required)
• Great multi-tasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced knowledge of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter
• Ability to evaluate decisions critically and communicate design choices clearly.
• Demonstrated portfolio showing creative, design, and software skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in related fields with 5+ years of proven working experience as a Graphic Designer and/or Video Editor; B2B marketing experience is a plus.
• Advanced experience using Apple computers, operating systems, and applications
• Tech-savvy and familiar with the latest technology trends and applications
• Solid knowledge of design and visual principles and best practices
• A penchant for design aesthetics, symmetry, typography, and color
• Experience with 3D animation software is a plus but not required.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, out-of-the-box thinker
• Advanced skills with Adobe Creative applications, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, and After Effects
