To keep that momentum going strong, we’re on the hunt for a Motion Graphic Artist to create 2D graphics and 3D animations for our learning videos and help bring the ideas we’re teaching to life.
You Will:

• Specific types of content being design and animated are along the lines of objects and buildings: character modeling and animation is not required.
• Sketch and outline potential concepts for motion graphics in videos
• Be a supportive team member that will help to establish and grow the Black Spectacles brand
• Participate in regular storyboarding exercises to visualize learning content
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about motion graphics technologies and techniques
• Work with video production team to create 2D motion graphics for video content
• Edit videos on feedback from Art Director or Production Team
• Attend and participate in daily or weekly projects and review meetings
• Work on motion graphics for multiple videos at a time

Requirements

• Solid understanding of timing and spatial design
• Experience with editing and Premier Pro is a plus
• Ability to create, edit and maintain graphic assets
• Expert in 2D animation and design
• Licensed Architect by NCARB is a big plus
• Ability to take constructive criticism and adjust design based on feedback provided
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong keyframing ability
• Experience with storyboards and visualizing complex concepts through design
• Expert in After Effects
