Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW:


The Head Community Management Moderator is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of moderators, ensuring the smooth operation of community management activities. This role plays a crucial role in maintaining a positive and vibrant community atmosphere, fostering meaningful interactions, and ensuring the community's needs are met and handling other ad hoc tasks as required by superiors. Additionally, the role involves managing partnerships and collaborations with existing and new partners.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:


  • Recruit suitable moderators with the necessary skills, experience, and cultural understanding.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align community management efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Lead and guide a team of moderators, providing direction, support, and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish community guidelines and policies.
  • Prepare regular reports on community engagement metrics, trends, and key insights.
  • Develop training programs and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for moderators.
  • Act as the point of contact for escalated issues and crisis situations, providing guidance and support.
  • Monitor and analyse community insights, trends, and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to ensure consistent and high-quality moderation practices.


KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent knowledge of Web3 and any past experience of moderations (Preferably discord moderations)
  • Excellent written English and proficiency in at least one additional languages, such as Filipino, Indonesian, or Vietnamese.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with community members.
  • Proven experience in community management and moderation, preferably in a digital or online community.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.


  • Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor and analyse community insights and metrics.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of community management best practices and social media platforms.
