Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an outstanding opportunity for a Mid-level Procurement Agent to join the BCA Supply Chain Contracts & Sourcing team in our North Charleston, South Carolina or Everett, Washington sites.


The selected individual will provide contracting knowledge including, but not limited to, negotiating and driving all aspects of Contracts & Sourcing in support of BCA programs. Primary duties include managing internal and external relationships with suppliers and internal partners, negotiating cost, terms & conditions, and adherence to affordability and financial goals and objectives. The individual will also maintain supplier contracts and statements of work within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures. Some travel may be required for this position (approximately 10% domestic and/or international travel may be required).


Position Responsibilities:


  • Prepares and implements negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
  • Initiates and completes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.
  • Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
  • Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.


This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.
  • 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed
  • 3+ years of experience in a role that required strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and performing complex contracts and subcontracts
  • 3+ years of experience developing proposals or contracts
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher or commensurate experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a role that required strong written and oral communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience developing and mentoring to, procurement process lifecycle
  • 3+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $79,200 - $103,400
