Mgr Patient Programs Medical Pharmacy


Summary


This position requires accountability for managing daily administrative and technical operations for the Site of Service/Infusion Referral Center Program (SOS) and the Oncology Care Management (OCM) program components. Responsible for coordination for all clinical activities under the guidance of leadership, coordination with the SOS/OCM teams and any other area within Magellan to ensure successful program outcomes. Provides support to SOS/OCM team members through content, technical and operational knowledge. Assures program performance meets all required performance and regulatory measures and goals.



  • Provides expertise assistance with creating and managing multiple reporting and testing activities. and electronic application enhancement projects for both programs.
  • Works closely and in conjunction with manager and SOS staff and OCM staff with any aspect of the programs.
  • Provides frontline administrative functions during high volume and peak periods.
  • Maintains open communication and documents processes, workflows, training, and performance metrics with both the SOS program. and the OCM program.
  • Assists Manager in the Provides identification and coordination of necessary training needs for new employees and new clients/accounts.
  • Mentors and provides guidance with all of the SOS team.
  • Interacts with both internal and external employees and providers in a professional, respectful manner that facilitates quality of care for members and accounts.
  • Supports new client implementations as assigned by manager.
  • Performs data collection, analysis of trends with all aspects of teams communication, such as phone call and email audits and identified gaps to identify improvement opportunities and strategies for better practices related to SOS program. Implements those strategies into the production environment.

Potential pay for this position ranges from $79,340.00 - $126,940.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
