Mental Health Therapist Jobs

Egan Counseling & Consultingof Charlotte, NC is currently seeking to hire licensed psychology associates, LCSWs, LMFTs, or LCMHCs to join our private practice. Both fully and associate licensed professionals will be considered. This is a W-2 position, and hourly pay is expected to fall between $75-110 per clinical hour, depending on experience.

EC&C provides services to children, adolescents, families, and parents. The owner is a former doctoral-level school psychologist and LCMHC and has created a practice that relies heavily on cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapy to provide efficient, practical, and compassionate support for children, teens, and parents experiencing distress. Clients with whom we work are most likely to be experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, misbehavior in the home and school setting, social skill deficits, executive functioning weaknesses, low self-esteem, and adjustment issues related to separation/divorce and school stressors. We collaborate extensively with the public and private schools in the area, other therapists, psychologists, and physicians. This a full-time position (23-25 clinical hours per week), although schedules are flexible. A competitive base salary is offered and we do not offer clinical services on weekends, as we believe our team works best with consistent rest and relaxation. Our practice is private pay (we do not accept insurance, although we provide superbills to clients) and we seek to provide customized mental health services and exceptional customer service.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ambition to grow a full case load that consists of your "best-fit" clients
• Continuous desire to grow both as a clinician and a business-person
• Ability to work both autonomously and in a collaborative manner with colleagues and other service providers
• Experience working with children, teens and families
• Familiarity with the resources offered by the private and public school system
• Training and experience that allows the clinician to provide direct, practical, and compassionate support to address client stressors
• Current licensure in North Carolina as an LCMHC (A), LMFT (A), LCSW (A), or an LPA

This position will provide fully-furnished office space, administration and marketing support, malpractice insurance, a SIMPLE IRA (with matching), an EHR, supervision, and a stipend for professional development.
