Job Description

Meetings Specialist

A client in Washington, DC is seeking a Meetings Coordinator to join their team. Remote M/F, in office T/W/Th. Fantastic benefits and culture!

Responsibilities:

  • In charge of meeting logistics: space, catering, housing, travel, A/V, VIP support, and other administrative duties
  • Execute all pre-meeting, meeting, and post-meeting requirements and duties
  • Research and identify successful event opportunities
  • Maintain stock of event supplies
  • Calculate and propose budgets for planned events or meetings
  • Distribute all meeting information and supplies to attending personnel
  • Coordinate all event activities and personnel

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience
  • Association experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food services – not excluding ppl if they are kosher, have dietary restrictions, etc.
  • CMP preferred
  • Able to handle multiple meetings at once
  • Need to be flexible on hours if they have an early meeting
  • May need to come into office on Mondays/Fridays if meeting is going on
  • Creative solutions-based
