The Medical Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of clinical tests; perform various biochemical, microscopic, blood bank and/or bacteriological tests to obtain data for use in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school

• Licensed under the NYS Dept of Education as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist

• Knowledge of hematology, chemistry, blood ban, and/or microbiology required

• Hospital experience desired

• Must work weekends and holidays as scheduled

• One year internship at an accredited hospital or one year practical experience preferred

• Good oral and written communication skills essential.
