Medical Receptionist Jobs

We are seeking a full-time front desk representative for our pediatric practice in the Alpharetta area. The ideal candidates will have experience in a pediatric clinical office setting and in-depth knowledge of all front office procedures. Excellent verbal communication is a must. In this role you will:

• Check-in/ check-out, collect copays, verify demographics and insurance
• Make sure waiting room is presentable
• Medical records requests
• Answer phones and schedule appointments
• Greet patients and families upon arrival
• Perform additional duties, as required

   

 Qualifications include:

• 1-year customer service experience or customer facing roles, preferred
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with other office equipment
• Ability to take initiative and work well in a fast-paced team environment
• Bilingual, a plus
• 1-year medical terminology, preferred
• 2 years Healthcare experience, preferably Pediatrics
• Basic typing and keyboard skills
• Welcoming personality
• Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation

  

Kids Health First is an Association of 35 Independent Pediatric Practices located in Atlanta and surrounding areas. Initial candidate screenings are conducted by our recruiter. All interviews and final decisions are made by the pediatric practices, based on their current individual needs and hiring processes. Salary and benefits are determined by individual practices.
