Responsibilities for Medical Receptionist
•Welcome patients, vendors, pharmaceutical representatives, and other visitors to our medical office
•Checking patients into clinic, ensuring proper documentation is complete and ready for providers
•Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions when necessary
•Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
•Utilize our medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for our patients
•Respond to emails that arrive using the general office email address
•With proper training, able to assist patients with skincare products and questions
•Check patients out and collect payments
•Work with our marketing team to generate emails and social media content
Qualifications for Medical Receptionist
•1+ years of experience working as an administrative assistant or in a relevant role preferred but not required
•Friendly and compassionate disposition
•Knowledge and experience in medical aesthetics is a plus
•Innovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
•Strong organizational, administrative, and planning skills.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to work independently or as part of a team
•Excellent interpersonal communication skills
•Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of all patient records
