This position is for a Medical Laboratory Assistant whose responsibility is to perform clinical laboratory procedures, quality assurance and instrument maintenance in accordance with accreditation standards, federal, state, and local regulations, organizational and departmental policies and procedures and professional standards. Analyzes specimens and obtains data in for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Provides safe and efficient laboratory services to neonate, infant, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatric patient populations. Refers unusual clinical and administrative problems to Supervisor or designee. The position reports to the Director of Laboratory.

1. Minimum level of Education: Completion of high school diploma or equivalent.

4. Work Experience: Clinical lab experience preferred. Basic computer skills necessary.
