Medical Affairs Project Administrator
Description
Purpose: The Medical Affairs Project Administrator coordinates medical contracts and purchase orders, support the department in medical training and research activities, and provide group support to ensure medical excellence and compliance for the local organization.
Reporting to the VP of US Medical Affairs, the Group Administrator will be responsible for coordinating support activities that arise within the US Medical/RMSC team.
Key Tasks:
- Oversee and administer all department contracts and purchase orders such as those with scientific thought leaders, healthcare providers, vendors, clinical studies, advisory boards, and Fellowship programs
- Coordinate and support the local team on administrative tasks to ensure the department runs efficiently:
- O Arrange meetings and connect with internal and external speakers to set agenda with goals to build capabilities and performance excellence and efficiency of the team
- Facilitate internal audit and health authority inspections and other annual compliance-related activities
- O Manage and oversee contract requests and purchase order administration
- Facilitate fair market value assessment and ensure contractual compliance
- Interface with procurement
- O Support the US Consumer Contact Center and Sales & Marketing in coordinating medical inquires, literature research, and product training
- Lead local medical governance-related activities such as compliance tracking, medical training programs, local standard operating procedure updates, training, and roll out
- O Opportunity to involve in the critical review of scientific literature and perform medical writing
Qualification & Competencies:
- Demonstrated proficiency in using typical business applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS TEAMS
- Be resourceful, good problem-solving skills, and reach the project goals and milestones on time
- Self-directed and highly motivated person, with willingness to learn new tools and approaches.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team settings with Medical Directors, Regulatory, Quality, Compliance, Procurement, and other business function
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with serving the team's mindset
- With the ability to see and comprehend the big picture of a project, yet be thorough and pay attention to details with the scientific work
- BSc in a clinical or biomedical science discipline, preferably with one or more years of work experience in a biomedical setting
IMPORTANT NOTE for POTENTIAL US CANDIDATES: Bayer expects its colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Bayer defines fully vaccinated in alignment with CDC which is two weeks after completing the two-dose vaccine regimen or two weeks after completing the one-dose regimen. Additionally, Bayer colleagues are also required to comply with state, local and customer requirements.
