Job Description
Summary of Position
Responsible for supporting the Medicaid improvement programs and specialized member initiatives impacting Foster Care,
Medical Fragile, Restricted Recipients, and Health Home populations. Assist with oversight activities used to monitor the Foster Care, Medical Fragile and Restricted Recipient Program.


Responsibilities:
  • Update polices and desk level procedures with current process.
  • Support team by handling questions, information requests, and complaints.
  • Restricted Recipients, and Health Home populations.
  • Work with Customer Service to improve the member onboarding process; implement best practices; and improve member call center experience - ensuring cultural competency, accommodations for individuals with disabilities, and evaluate member satisfaction on an ongoing basis).
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, document minutes, distribute meeting materials, and follow up as required.
  • Collect data, track membership statistics, and prepare dashboards or reports for the Foster Care, Medical Fragile,
  • Assist in the preparation and document outcomes from Medicaid Member Advisory Panel
  • Report regularly on member outreach productivity and outcomes.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure Medicaid member strategies and action plans deliverables are meeting deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare, business, or public policy
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal) (R)
  • 2 – 3+ years’ experience in the healthcare or managed care industry, or related field (R)
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams, etc.) (R)
  • Ability to organize and prioritize effectively; and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks (R)
  • Attention to detail; ability to utilize data and statistics effectively (R)
