Media Reconciliation Specialist (Hybrid Or Remote)

This is a Hybrid or full-time Remote position. Hybrid if you live in the Central Illinois area, which requires you to be in the Peoria, IL office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday with the option to work from home Monday and Friday.

As a Media Reconciliation Specialist, My Objective Is

To be an effective problem solver and adept at anticipating problems and recognizing opportunities. This individual is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reconciliation of media campaigns across various platforms. This role includes analyzing campaign data, costs, invoices, identifying discrepancies, and working with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, and can adapt to a fast-paced environment.

THE OUTCOMES I NEED TO PRODUCE FOR THE AGENCY ARE:

• Assist Simantel Project Planners to ensure the MAP is updated/accurate
• Work with Simantel accounting team to monitor client POs and make sure invoices are accurate
• Work with Simantel accounting team on media accounts receivable status
• Ensure invoices are received, entered accurately into WorkBook and help with any media dollars that need to be credited/deducted from future months of an approved plan
• Support teams by reviewing Media Action Plan (MAP) and attending start-up meetings as needed

To Produce These Outcomes, i Need To

• Research to showcase support for media plan direction
• Meet regularly with Simantel Account Planners, Project Planners and Strategists to become knowledgeable on all Simantel media clients/accounts
• Gain a strong understanding of agency process for media campaigns
• Strong, productive relationships with media vendors/partners, as well as establish contacts with new outlets

The Skills And Abilities i Require Are

• Experience in Strata, Bionic and Deltek WorkBook preferred
• Collaboration within a team structure, but self-sufficient and proactive work without being micro-managed
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding basic math, marketing and media principles
• Media buying abilities with local TV, Radio, and Out of Home

• Timely and quality deliverables as requested by media team, account teams, and/or clients
• Media campaigns with performance at or above benchmarks
• Well-developed working relationship with media strategists, experience strategists and analytics team

Long-term Indicators Of My Success Are

• Showcase progressive understanding of media strategy & media planning
• Ability to anticipate media team, account team, or client needs regarding campaign buying strategy
• Capacity to help support growth of media team service offerings
