Media Assistant Jobs

Ocean Youth Academy is a California based non-profit who's mission is to connect youth with our planet's oceans. We are currently working on a project that involves multimedia educational content about the Polar Regions and are looking for someone who can help us with design, editing, production, and meeting deadlines. The efforts of this role will be contributing to our mission and getting polar ocean education to students around the globe. This will be a contracted role with potential for future work and growth within the organization if the fit is right. You will be assisting OYA's media and production team with a diverse set of duties that may include (but are not limited to):

Current project duties :

• Script support (supplemental research, fact check, and transcription)
• For ongoing OYA comms:
• Managing email marketing operations
• Studio Production Assistant (PA) duties as assigned
• Media and rights management
• Minor photo, video, and audio editing tasks for consistency and clarity using Adobe Suite
• Contribute and edit SEO-friendly blog posts
• Log and process footage
• Create Canva designs from templates using custom and stock media
• Managing social content calendar
