NOTE: This position is a Summer Internship from May 2023 - August 2023. You must be enrolled in a College Engineering Degree program in order to be considered.

Job Summary:

Working under the direction of Principal Mechanical Engineers, the Mechanical Engineering Co-op will complete design and testing activities on new products and modification to existing products.

Essential Functions:

  • Execute product testing plans to verify new product designs
  • Create studies and geometry comparisons of existing envelopes to confirm from and fit of revised /modified designs
  • Create new designs and modifications of existing designs using SolidWorks
  • Develop new SolidWorks assemblies and models from concept sketches

Skill Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program in order to be considered
  • Experience building parts and assemblies using with 3D printers is a plus
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks, Certified SolidWorks Associate is preferred

Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Minimum two years of Study in an ABET certified Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering program with good academic attainment
  • Completion of one year of Engineering Mechanics
