Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Houston, TX
Salary: $65K-$85K+ DOE
Requirements: Autodesk Inventor, Reactor Maintenance, Tray Installation, Catalyst Loading
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in providing technical expertise to our clients in the chemical processing, oil, and gas industries. Our ideal candidate will have 5+ of relevant mechanical engineering experience for the improvement of catalytic reactors, reformers, and converters. If this sounds like you, I'd love to chat!
What You Will Be Doing

• Train new and junior employees
• Perform FEA
• Create mechanical designs and drawings using Autodesk Inventor
• Build and test prototypes using hand/power tools
• Travel to client sites and interface with clients to provide technical support
• Perform reactor maintenance, tray installation inspections, and catalyst loading inspections

What You Need for this Position

• Drafting experience
• Hands on experience with Autodesk Inventor
• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years relevant experience
• Ability to perform finite element analysis and appropriate engineering calculations
• Knowledge of the following concepts: fluid power, machine design, strength of materials, metallurgy, thermodynamics, heat transfer, manufacturing

Additional Requirements

• Driver License
• Valid TWIC or ability to obtain a TWIC card
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
