Functions & Responsiblities Essential

• Work with manufacturing on build processes and improvement
• Designs are completed according to schedule.
• Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office software effectively.
• Track manufacturability issues from operations
• Perform design analysis for equipment.
• Design analysis, drawings, and bills of material are accurate.
• Designs meet Afinitas engineering standards.
• Create and complete bills of material for equipment.
• Coordinate layout and design of equipment.
• Update models and drawings to eliminate manufacturability issues.
• Designs are functional, easily manufactured, and meet customer expectations.
• Create manufacturing drawings for equipment.

Qualifications

• Work individually as well as in a team environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Mechanical power relationships such as horsepower, torque, speed
• Drafting standards, dimensioning, and tolerances
• Strength of materials and structural analysis
• Ability to learn through job-shadowing and observation.
• Training and/or experience in using SolidWorks or similar 3-D modeling software.
• Takes personal ownership and satisfaction on quality work.
• Basic understanding of:
• Training and/or experience in using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Manufacturing processes
• Pursuit of technical 4-year education or technical 2-year education required.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
