Job Description
Mechanical Assembler Technician
Madison Heights, MI
Company builds manufacturing equipment
Pay rate: $20 - 25/hr
***This is a position which offers growth, training is offered to transition/ learn the machine build trade
Job overview:
Mechanical assembler to assistant Machine Builders, maintenance of shop, shipping assistance, use Hilo operation to move equipment
Keeping shop floor and area clean
Will be responsible for cleaning after job completion, use power-washer
Duties:
Bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and performing repetitive motions
Standing and walking for 8+ hours
Moving large quantities of materials with carts, hand trucks, forklifts and other moving equipment
Must follow daily and / or weekly instructions by the department supervisor
Required:
Must have MIN 1 year experience working in shop/ manufacturing environment
Must have mechanical aptitude
Ability to use hand-tools
Operate Hilo
Reading gages
***This is a position which offers growth, training is offered to transition/ learn the machine build trade
Days hours: 7am to 4pm
Mon-Fri 40 hours week, some OT avail.
